Why Helix keeps one database instead of twelve integrations

Every tool a small business buys was built to do one job, and each one needs its own database to do it. Two tools means an integration. Six means a full-time job making numbers agree at the end of every month.

Helix Business Suite starts from the other end. The order, the customer, the stock level and the invoice are one set of records, and every module reads and writes the same rows. There is no sync window, no export, no reconciliation ritual, because there is nothing to reconcile.

What that changes in practice

  • Stock sold on the POS is gone from the storefront in the same instant, not after an overnight job.
  • The ledger is already written by the time you open it, because the sale was made inside it.
  • A customer has one record, so the campaign and the pipeline cannot disagree about who they are.

Deterministic first, AI second

Algorithms run the numbers. AI handles intake and outflow around them — sorting, drafting, chasing — and both ends are watched so the work can be checked against something that was calculated. Any figure traces back to the rule that produced it.

Helix is the engine. Bring your own fuel.

We do not supply the intelligence. Point Helix at the model you trust, or run it locally so nothing ever leaves your own servers. Helix is in build and in early trials on a live five-brand operation.
