big.be: twenty years of music, now on YouTube

big.be went live in 2024, but the project is much older than the upload date. I started learning basic MIDI track creation as a kid, sitting next to my dad while he figured out the same software. That was the first proof that music could be made, not just listened to.

I have played guitar on and off for close to twenty years, never as a career, never in a rush, just something I kept returning to when the rest of life needed a counterweight. Everything I know about tone, timing and structure has been self-retained, learned by ear, by mistake, and by repetition.

The channel exists because I finally decided I wanted the music out of the car stereo and into the world. I make the kind of club music I want to hear while driving: heavy, lean, and unpolished in the right places. New tracks land whenever the schedule allows, usually every week or so.
